Wellness Club
Jessie and Mikayla Rulh introduced the Wellness Club to Newman this year with the goal to educate the student body on proper eating habits and exercise. They meet once a month on the senior patio and order healthy lunches. Their meetings include ideas on how to improve the health of students at Newman and ways that the members can live healthier lives. Their goal for the next semester is to host a club fair on health education and strategies that the student body can enact to become healthier people. The Wellness Club also intends to collaborate with other health organizations at Newman for a combined approach to a healthier student body.
