The Navigator Staff is excited to announce a print edition of The Navigator newspaper! It includes a collection of our best articles from the spring 2024 semester! Thank you to our staff for their hard work on this edition, and we hope y’all enjoy reading it!

About the Contributors

Nick Rezza, Executive Editor-In-Chief

Nick is a Senior in the Class of 2025 and the Co-Executive Editor-In-Chief of the Navigator. He also oversees all technology for the Navigator, including managing the website and designing/printing the semesterly print editions. In addition to leading the Navigator Staff, he is a Peer Leader, Captain of the Varsity Swim Team, Secretary of the Executive Committee, President of the ACTIONS Committee, Managing Editor of the Pioneer, Secretary of the Math Team, and Member/NIT Coordinator of the Speech & Debate Team. Nick loves everything Newman (especially Newman history) and being involved in the community in as many ways as possible.

Lauren Klebba, Editor-In-Chief

Lauren has been a writer for the Navigator since Sophomore year and is one of the Editor-In-Chiefs for the 2023-2024 school year. She especially enjoys writing about current events and Life @ Newman. Aside from the Navigator, she is on the ACTIONS Environmental Committee, is a Student Activities Representative, loves the arts, and is a cross country, soccer, and track athlete.

Gwendolyn Gray, Executive Editor-In-Chief

Gwendolyn is an Editor-In-Chief for the 2023-34 school year enjoys writing articles for our Life @ Newman section. Outside of the Navigator, she is a captain of the Girls Tennis team.

Marie Wilder, Editor-In-Chief

Marie is a Senior and one of the Editors-In-Chief for the 2023-24 school year. She enjoys writing about current events and sharing her favorite recipes!

Morgan Breaux, Associate Editor-In-Chief

Morgan's avid love of reading led her to join the Navigator during the second semester of her freshman year. Her favorite topics to write about include News, Life @ Newman, Current Events, and the Arts. In addition to being Co-Associate Editor-In-Chief of the Navigator, Morgan is also Co-President of the Book Club, Co-Vice President of Arts Committee, member of the A.C.T.I.O.N.S. Caring for the Vulnerable Subcommittee, member of the Varsity Swim Team, and member of the Speech and Debate Team.
