Saniya Jarrow was selected by the Navigator’s editorial staff as the December Writer of the Month! This month, Saniya wrote “The Wicked Movie!”, a detailed review of the hit movie-musical Wicked, diving into both the movie’s plot and its fantastic cast. Saniya also contributed to the article “Junior Year Workload and Mental Health” alongside fellow writers Helen Gong ’26 and Jada Merritt ’26.

Saniya is currently a junior who joined the Navigator staff this year. She enjoys writing about Life @ Newman, The Arts, and Lifestyle. In addition to her contributions to the Navigator, Saniya volunteers at Breakthrough, participates in the Robotics Team, and is a member of the APC Club. She is also deeply involved in the arts, including taking the AP Studio Art class, working on the tech crew for Newman’s productions, and painting and drawing in her free time. When she’s not busy with extracurricular activities, Saniya enjoys watching TV shows like The Simpsons and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
