Snow Crab Roll Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 cup sushi rice
- 1 cucumber (cut into strips)
- Fully cooked crab (cut into strips)
- 2 Nori (dried seaweed) mats
- 1 avocado
- ½ package of cream cheese
- Sesame seeds
- A bamboo rolling mat
Directions:
- Cook rice using a rice steamer*
- Cut all veggies and meats into strips
- Lay out your bamboo mat, then put the nori on top
- Place a thin layer of rice on nori. Leave a 1-inch strip at the top and bottom
- Place all the filling ingredients (avocado, cucumber, crab, cream cheese) in the middle of the nori
- Roll the sushi towards you using the bamboo mat
- Once you meet the two uncovered nori edges, wet them and fold one over the other. Shape your roll and press it being careful not to press so hard that your filling comes out of the open ends
- Get an extremely sharp knife and a bowl of water
- While cutting the roll, try not to rip the nori. Rub the knife with water between each cut to make sure the rice doesn’t stick.

*if you don’t own a rice cooker, you can use a coffee maker!
