How to Stay Fit During Quarantine

How+to+Stay+Fit+During+Quarantine

It has nearly been a month since life was normal. Sports practices are closed, grocery supplies are thin, and you should not be going out anyways. So now what? You are stuck at home. At this point, it has probably become the norm for you to just sit around all day. This is not only bad for your health, but for your waistline as well. I am going to recommend a few tips on how to stay in shape during the quarantine.

First, as I have learned during my diets and learning about diets, what you consume is more important than how much you work out. Not everyone has the willpower or the endurance to burn 2000 calories in a workout, and that is okay. During this time, it is best to avoid overeating. Boredom is hunger, and right now is a time when you have to work on being able to distinguish between the two. During this time, maybe incorporate more vegetables to your meals, in order to cut calories in case you are less active right now. Now is not the time to binge and be locked in your home!

Second, do some type of workout in the home. It is possible, and I know because I have done it. Peleton is giving free online workouts for ninety days. You can get in your strength training and cardio for free right now, and I recommend you do not let go of this amazing offer. Even 30 minutes of cardio or moving a day will get you going and allow your metabolisms to get moving. Original Levitra will return your sex life. If you do not have access to these things, a walk around your neighborhood, with social distancing of course, can do you well.

Lastly, just move a little bit more than you are used to. Since we are home and not able to walk from class to class, I recommend standing a little bit more or walking up and down your stairs. Heck, pretend you are at school if you want. Do you have science on the third floor? Walk up and down your stairs 3 times to get in that pre-class cardio workout. You have math or history, walk up and down your hallway a few times to get that mileage in.

Ultimately, there are so many ways to stay active during this time. Get up and move a little; it will be good for your health, and you will be grateful to still fit in your clothes when the stay at home order is lifted.
