Jada Merritt was selected by the Navigator’s editorial staff to be the October Writer of the Month! This month, Jada wrote a detailed recap of the 2024 VMAS, “The 2024 VMAS Coverage,” that included quotes and photos, in addition to contributing to the “Spirit Week 2024 Recap” with fellow writers.
Jada is a current Junior, who joined the Navigator staff this year. She likes to write about Pop, Entertainment, and Social Issues. In addition to writing for the Navigator, Jada is on the Tech Crew for Newman’s plays and musicals, and she enjoys reading, watching TV shows (like Outer Banks), and running in her free time.
