10 Beauty Tips


Here are some beauty tips to better your skin and body. While this is a fashion column, keeping up with yourself is just as important as keeping up with the latest fashion trends and clothes. So, here are 10 tips to improve or add to your normal pampering routine!

  1. Drink water! It’s great for your skin, immune system, digestive system, metabolism, etc. You can make it fun by adding fruits to make it  even better (my favorite are strawberries)!
  2. Wash your face daily and never go to sleep with makeup on. Remove your makeup with makeup remover wipes and follow up by washing your face.
  3. If you don’t already have one, invest in a cleaning brush! It doesn’t have to be high end, any brush is better than your hands. You will see the difference for sure.
  4. Facial masks are a must. Your skin will thank you by staying even and clear!
  5. Want soft baby feet? Exfoliate your feet with a scrub in the shower. Put on a thick lotion and socks. Then, leave them on overnight and thank me later ;)!
  6. Exfoliate often! Use a scrub on your body and lips. This will take off the dead skin and nasty bacteria, along with lessening the appearance of dark marks.
  7. To thicken your lashes: mix castor oil, coconut oil, and aloe vera and apply that  3 times a week using a clean mascara wand (You can find them on Amazon.com for $2 a pack).
  8. Have an  everyday perfume  and another one that I like to call my “Beyonce” perfume. Only wear the “Beyonce” one when you’re going out. IT WILL CHANGE YOU!!!!
  9. Moisturize your body after every shower. Lotion or even just a body oil will do the job. Overtime, your skin will thank you!
  10. Carry a small bag of emergency items you may need with you at all times such as chapstick or mints.
