First of all, thank you to the members of the Newman community who supported us by coming to see Leading Ladies. Everyone involved in the cast and crew had a lot of fun, and we can’t wait to do it again!

Speaking of which, we have just finished a fantastic production of Leading Ladies on October 22^nd, but the theater department is already planning its next production, the middle school musical Seussical Jr. The play is a musical adaptation of the stories of Dr. Seuss; written by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty, it debuted on Broadway in 2000 and was nominated for several awards.

January 26^th-28^th, 2017 (at 7 pm)

After Seussical Jr. has concluded, auditions will begin for the upper school musical, The Addams Family, which I’ll tell you more about in January.
