Despite the chaos and intensity Spirit Week demanded from the whole High School, the Greenies showed up and showed out for the homecoming game against the Willow School! The homecoming court, football team, and student section all came together to finish off Spirit Week on a high night with a first big win of the season.
The final score was 40 to 8, clearly displaying the Greenies’ strong effort and commitment to making their school proud. With the student section fired up and ready to cheer on the players, the defense caused multiple turnovers and held the Lions off with great effort. Our three captains, George Loop, Jake Randle, and Henry Jackson ultimately led the team to victory through impressive performances and clear encouragement. Jack Randle, while playing quarterback, rushed for over 200 yards and scored a total of three touchdowns, further securing a win for the Greenies. At halftime, the Homecoming Court was presented and celebrated by parents, friends, and faculty. This years homecoming game marked a great win for the football team and celebrated the senior class in good spirits. Go Greenies!
